Artist Statement
My work is captured energy.
The abstractions I create are the result of time, emotion, subconscious, consciousness, memory, craft and technique. Energy is applied with inspired strokes to begin a conversation that takes me to new places. I heal through painting, and communicate with my art. I love creating something new and from my mind’s eye. Using abstraction, I can speak in different ways to each viewer, as these unique forms allow for infinite interpretations. For this reason, I believe these artworks are larger than life and exist in a space and time all their own.
